I truly enjoyed my stay because the comfortable bed in my clean room made it easy to sleep well after exploring the nearby Midwest Museum of Natural History, which is about 3.5 km away and perfect for a leisurely stroll, and I loved that there are plenty of great dining options like Giordano's just a short 500-meter walk from the hotel for a delicious meal.

I visited to enjoy some time with friends and catch an NIU Huskies game. The room was comfortable and the staff were incredibly friendly, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The pool was definitely a highlight, perfect for relaxing after the game. The only downside was the Wi-Fi connection, which was a bit spotty at times.

The breakfast was a feast, with scrambled eggs, bacon, and biscuits drenched in gravy—total comfort food vibes! Plus, Mary at the front desk was a gem, making us feel right at home. The vibe at the Best Western Inn felt like a cozy nest amidst the hustle of Sycamore.

But, there was a little hiccup with double charges to my card, which really tied my wallet in knots. And while I get that staff can have their off days, the yelling I heard at the front desk wasn't the best welcome.
